Corrpro is seeking a self-motivated and energetic Material Handler for the Sand Springs, Oklahoma office.  This position is responsible for the daily warehouse activities of a Manufacturing and distribution facility. Typically performs receiving, storing, and shipping of internal and external customer orders. Checks incoming material against packing list, warehouses incoming material, storing or stacking properly. Following sales order, retrieves material from stock room / warehouse, packages product for delivery, and loads delivery truck. Operates forklift and may operate machinery, as required, to dispatch material to customer request. Ensures warehouse and yard are maintained to meet housekeeping and safety guidelines. Maintain warehouse operations in accordance with Corrpro standards.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a clean working environment while maintaining safety awareness
  • Kit parts for manufacturing and place them in holding area
  • Final packaging / assembly as required
  • Ensure completion of monthly cycle count and support annual physical inventory counts
  • Ensure all outbound shipments from the warehouse are shipped on time
  • Use JDEdwards system to look up part numbers and on hand quantities
  • Assist production with the assembly of small parts orders
  • Operate computer for time sheet entry, safety, time off requests, benefits, etc.
  • Demonstrate positive communication with department employees and internal customers
  • Coordinate internally to ensure critical shipments are prioritized and properly routed for delivered
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must be able to pass forklift certification
  • 3 years of general warehouse experience, including forklift operation and/or knowledge of warehouse environment preferred
  • Ability to use computer applications such as MS Word, databases and JDEdwards
  • Past demonstration of positive communication with coworkers
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with experience prioritizing and planning work with minimal supervision
  • Working conditions are in a warehouse and yard environment, candidate must be able to perform repetitive physical exertion work tasks
  • Candidate must be able to perform duties in all weather conditions
