Corrpro Companies Europe Limited, a world leader in corrosion control and mitigation has a vacancy for a junior Corrosion Engineer to work in the Cathodic protection and corrosion monitoring industry.




Working with a group of Engineers and Technicians, you would perform site surveys and field work primarily on (but not limited to) Underground Storage Tanks (UST’s) in private residences – duties include testing, evaluation and installation of cathodic protection systems designed to inhibit corrosion on various structures.

Note this role will include working alone and being away from home Monday to Friday (accommodation, food, company vehicle and expenses will be provided by Corrpro).

  • Perform tests on UST’s and record the results of the effectiveness of Cathodic Protection systems using hand tools inc. Multimeters and Reference Electrodes.
  • Perform and install remedial actions on UST Cathodic Protection systems such as replacing anodes and junction boxes (this will includes digging and reinstatement of turf / groundworks).
  • Work as a team member on pipeline surveys such as Close Interval Potential (CIP) surveys and Direct Current Voltage Gradient (DCVG) surveys.
  • Perform Test Post surveys on pipelines / plants.
  • Participate in Installation and Commissioning of Cathodic Protection systems as required.
  • Prepare field reports / test sheets for engineer review.





  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability and discipline to plan your own work schedule during the week.
  • Ability to produce thorough site notes.
  • Comfortable dealing with clients.
  • Must be capable and driven to work alone and meet expected UST testing weekly targets.
  • Previous experience using multimeters to perform electrical testing is advantageous.
  • GCSE / O-level in Math and English is desirable.
