Overview

Brinderson Constructors is looking for an experienced Office Manager with an accounting background.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the payroll and project billing processes in accordance with the established accounting standards and billing policy.

  • Enter 3rd party and sub-contractor costs into CCM (equipment, material invoices)
  • Issue purchase orders, process AP Invoices and order office supplies
  • Research any unbilled issues to optimize the billing possibilities for the billing period
  • Maintain the billing folders for all projects, with all the appropriate documents, including expenses, and monthly invoices, in accordance with standard procedures
  • Effectively communicate with the Site Manager, Field Finance Manager and Project Control Manager regarding contract documents, change orders and other contract modifications, approvals, and any additional services-related to billing and/or payroll
  • Work with the cash receipts to reconcile variances that occur in the application of cash
  • Process invoices in CMiC upon receipt of payment from client
  • Make transfers of employee billable hours in company system as necessary
  • Perform cost reporting for client

Qualifications

  • Refinery experience preferred (3+ years)
  • Intermediate to advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Billing experience preferred
  • Timekeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to work well with others under deadline situations and respond to changes in priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and see projects through to completion
  • Employ problem-solving skills and analysis, and report problems to the Field Finance Manager, as necessary
  • Strong service orientation
  • Knowledge of CCM preferred
