  • Overall management of AC Mitigation engineering services as well as provide senior level evaluation and design
  • Implement corporate operating procedures
  • Provide leadership and manage all engineering aspects of the AC Mitigation group
  • Mentor, train and evaluate engineers in application of general engineering principles, design concepts, survey techniques, and analytical reporting
  • Organize, schedule and assign staff to projects to obtain most effective utilization of resources and meet customer commitments; set goals and manage job performance
  • Direct project activities to successful completion
  • Prepare detailed proposals or provide data to sales staff as appropriate
  • Analyze drawings, specifications and job site location to ensure proper scheduling, recommend customary fee adjustments if necessary
  • Provide all specifications required for preparation of construction estimates, monitor engineering aspects of system installation and resolution of difficulties
  • Visit job sites to provide technical guidance and supervision to other divisions within the company, ensure satisfactory progress and favorable customer relations as needed
  • Prepare complete reports from technical data gathered as needed
  • Review preliminary data and proposals with engineering staff; discuss objectives, specify expectations, suggest appropriate methods and procedures
  • Prepare data for operating and capital equipment budgets; authorize release of billing
  • Specify and initiate procurement of instrumentation for field use, arrange for maintenance and repair through manufacture
  • Participate in sales meetings and product seminars to remain current in corrosion field


  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required
  • Professional Engineering Registration or NACE CP Certifications highly preferred
  • 4 years supervisory experience and 10 years professional AC Mitigation project experience
  • Must have strong project management and problem solving skills
  • Must have experience with cathodic protection systems and other corrosion control systems
  • Business knowledge, computer literacy and strong team and internal customer service skills required
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Possess and apply comprehensive engineering knowledge on significant assignments
  • Must be able to travel as needed
