The Senior GIS Specialist will work as a part of the GIS Team to process, analyze and visualize spatial and non-spatial data collected from Pipeline integrity surveys. GIS Specialist will support internal and external requests for map creation and other cartographic outputs including ESRI File formats, PDFs, Reports and Google Earth files for pipeline integrity projects.
Proficient in ArcToolBox and Spatial Analysis.
Experienced in Alignment sheet generation software (Blue Sky Products preferred).
Familiarity with Pipeline Integrity data. Proficiency in Pipeline integrity data is preferred.
Experienced in Linear Referencing Systems – Route Creation, Point and Linear Route Events, Route Calibration.
Must be proficient with Microsoft office (Excel,Word, MS-Access) and Adobe products.
ArcPad, ArcGIS Collector, Survey 123 experience is an asset.
Ability to automate repetitive tasks with Python or Model Builder is desirable.
Experience with Hand Held Terminals and GPS receivers is an asset.
