Responsibilities

  • Support the activities of the Outside Sales Representatives for the western territory
  • Review requests for quotations and specifications from customers and provide guidance to operations staff on bid due date and specific customer needs
  • Assist Estimating in monitoring public bid dates and assure timely submission of bids
  • Follow up and track outcome of bid and proposal results
  • Assist outside sales with Identifing opportunities through lead services and follow up calls on prospective projects
  • Develop and manage customer and vendor relationships with appropriate customer staff
  • Assist Outside Sales Representative with data entry into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Coordinate office attendance at local trade shows and attend where necessary
  • Support other Operations Requests for Information (RFI) and quotes as needed
  • Coordinate opportunities for other Corrpro Operations
  • Correspond and verbally communicate in a professional manner with customers and prospective clients
  • Represent Corrpro in a professional manner, with a high degree of respect for all existing and potential customers

 

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of experience supporting sales staff or related
  • Knowledge of corrosion control or cathodic protection, engineering industry or municipalities preferred, but not required
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and experience working under pressure and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Excellent customer service, as well as interpersonal and communication skills required
  • Strong computer skills including experience with databases or CRM such as SalesForce or ACT!!
  • Ability to interact with individuals at all levels within an organization  
  • Ability to attend trade shows as needed
