Corrpro Canada is looking for a Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Fort St. John, BC.

Corrpro Canada, an Aegion Company, is Canada's largest corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring business for the protection and preservation of infrastructure. Corrpro provides professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies, government agencies, municipal water, sewer and gas utilities, universities, and public transportation agencies. Corrpro has complete construction installation services, including crews and equipment to install any type of cathodic protection system for any type of structure.


  • Plan and perform duties such as testing, evaluation and installation of custom rectifiers.
  • Read and interpret electrical, mechanical and architectural drawings, specifications, and applicable codes to determine wiring layouts
  • Recommend modifications as needed
  • Adhere to all rules and regulations of each customer site
  • Install, replace, maintain and repair electrical generation sources and related equipment
  • Splice, join and connect wire to form circuits as required
  • Test circuits to ensure integrity and safety


  • Must have Journeyman Certification.
  • Must possess knowledge of Electrical Theory and Practice
  • 2+ years of oil and gas field work experience
  • Experience operating quads and snowmobiles
  • Rectifier training an asset
  • Proficiency with computer software tools (Microsoft Word and Excel)

Additional Requirements

  • Able to travel and work overtime
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Class 5 driver’s license or equivalent, with acceptable driving record
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug and medical testing
  • Safety tickets, such as First Aid, CSTS, H2S, WHMIS an asset
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
