Corrpro Companies Europe is looking for a Cathodic Protection Technician I with potential monitoring experience and who has supported more experienced Cathodic Protection personnel in surveys such as Close Interval Potential Survey (CIPS) or Direct Current Voltage Gradient (DCVG) experience for our Stockton-on-Tees office.

Under the direct supervision of a more competent person, the Cathodic Protection Technician I will perform duties involved with testing cathodic protection systems to inhibit corrosion on buried and immersed structures.
Work with specific objectives and instruction from more senior staff using Method Statements and Risk Assessments, customer drawings and specifications
Working away from your home regularly and typically five days per week will be required. Longer periods will also be required from time to time.
Conduct various specific test procedures to gather data for evaluation purposes
Gather structure-to-soil potential data, soil measurements and transformer rectifier data
Sketch rectifiers, anodes, test stations, and other design features on prepared drawings
Assist more senior staff in the provision of accurate data for the preparation by others of survey reports and final job reports
Sketch physical features of installation site for subsequent detail
Gather data, prepare charts and table
Apply basic skills learned as Cathodic Protection Technician I with increasing independence
Manage and maintain field test equipment, ensure good operating condition and render minor repairs
