    Brinderson L.P is expanding its portfolio of services in the Pacific Northwest and is in the market for construction managers and SCAFFOLD ERECTORS to join our team(s) in Anacortes and Ferndale, WA – we anticipate hires in early March.  COME GROW WITH US!

    Responsibilities

    SUMMARY

     

    As a Scaffold Erector on our team you will be responsible for building all types of industrial scaffolds at a variety of worksites.  You’ll participate in “tool box” meetings aimed toward site safety, and the sense of pride you take in your work will show in the way you organize and maintain your work area.  As a member of our team you can expect training, both on-the-job and off, and growth opportunities to include crew leadership.  Considering the ever-changing industry we’re in you’ll likely also be given the opportunity to take on additional tasks to grow your already-expanding skill set!

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    • Build all types of industrial scaffolds, in compliance with OSHA, local, state, and federal requirements;
    • Participate in safety/tool box meetings;
    • Provide leadership within crew;
    • Maintain proper housekeeping in assigned work area;
    • Other duties as required
    • Overtime available at times but not required

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

     

    • High School diploma or GED equivalent;
    • Journeyman Scaffold Builder, experience in the refinery industry preferred;
    • Be able to achieve OSHA “competent person” designation related to Scaffolding (29 CFR Part 1926 Subpart L (Scaffolds);
    • Ability to work independently, and as part of a team;
    • Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions which apply to scaffold work;
    • Ability to complete reports, records and related administrative tasks;
    • Strong communication skills, to communicate effectively with members of the public, staff and others who are involved in the loading and unloading process;
    • Demonstrated critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills;
    • Capable of lifting and carry up to 50 lbs.;
    • MUST be authorized to work in the U.S
