Brinderson is looking for an experienced Project Manager.

a. Execution
i. Responsible for QA / QC administrative compliance
ii. Responsible to facilitate execution with proper permitting as required
iii. Interface with client personnel and other contractors to coordinate execution of work
iv. Responsible for project cost and schedule control
v. Assist in developing resource, time and material estimates to support change management requirements
vi. Assists in developing solutions to complex constructability challenges
vii. Responsible to update job schedules with accurate progress and provide forecast information as required
b. Administrative
i. Hires temporary personnel as required to meet work load demands
ii. Oversees the administrative needs of direct report personnel
iii. Responsible to approve timesheet labor, equipment and material costs as required
iv. Establishes processes to orientate all new personnel relative to:
v. Safety / Hazard Analysis
vi. Process safety awareness
vii. Unit safety and awareness
viii. Responsible to administer subcontract relationships as needed


a. At least five (5) years of Project Management, Project Controls and/or Project Engineering experience within the petrochemical industry

b. Ability to plan job tasks support project execution
c. Proven ability to manage and execute projects of varying size and complexity
d. Practical understanding of construction techniques, terms and processes relative to petrochemical projects
e. Practical background in QA/QC process and procedures relative to petrochemical projects
f. Ability to comprehend and apply technical drawings, design documents, specifications and procedures
g. Ability to be flexible and adapt management focus and resources to changing needs and priorities
h. Practical knowledge of construction equipment and construction processes
i. Practical knowledge of refinery process systems and hazards
j. Working knowledge of basic project controls functions including scope development, estimating and change management
k. Working knowledge of procurement processes and procedures
