    United Pipeline Systems is seeking a Warehouseman for our facility located in Durango, CO. The Warehouseman is responsible for supplying and maintaining all necessary tools and equipment required for our installation crews.

    Responsibilities

    • Operating equipment and tools including forklifts, front end loaders, overhead cranes, drills, saws, grinders and various hand tools.
    • Evaluate the job specific equipment and consumable requirements of all field projects, ensure that these items are delivered promptly to the jobs and returned promptly to the appropriate facility.
    • Interface with Field Superintendents to make recommendations on improvements to standard processes, tools and equipment.
    • Inventory control: Being responsible for all inventoried items including pullheads, retrievers, stubends, rings, clamps, jaws, pigs, internal debeders, external debeaders etc.
    • Load and unload trucks with specific project equipment.
    • Receive incoming packages and assemble outgoing packages. Properly code packing lists. Deliver packages to appropriate persons.
    • Snow removal when required.
    • General cleaning/ shop duties as required

     

     

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma or GED;

    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

    • Preferred candidates will have more education/experience.

    • Welding, Hydraulic and Mechanical experience a plus

    • Must be able to perform frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, standing, walking, and reaching activities.
    • Required to lift up to 50 pounds
    • Must be able to perform work both indoors and outdoors
