    Aegion Coating Services is looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team in Tulsa, OK.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for review and reconciliation of general ledger accounts, assist in preparation of monthly financial statements, and work with operations and project management personnel.

    • Support A/P with account coding and purchase order issues
    • Analyze monthly financial statements and project variances
    • Prepare and analyze cost reports and costing audits
    • Assist in determination and implementation of cost accounting procedures and methods
    • Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
    • Process Authorization for Expenditures, ensuring all information is properly completed
    • Assist in Asset Management
    • Assist in invoice processing
    • Support in audit processes when required
    • Assist in month end closing processes to help ensure a timely close
    • Prepare monthly journal entries including monthly accruals
    • Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly
    • Company credit card reconciliations and sending un-reconciled accounts to employees
    • Assist with year-end tasks, such as gathering data for external and internal audit
    • Additional tasks as assigned


    • BS degree in Accounting
    • 2+ years accounting experience required
    • Microsoft Office (Excel, word, PowerPoint) experience required
    • JD Edwards experience an asset
    • Project Accounting experience an asset
    • Must be a self-starter, ambitious, eager to learn and use strong communication skills to work with internal customers
    • Must be willing to dig into problems independently
    • Must be well organized, with the ability to prioritize and multi task several projects at once
    • Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
    • Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills
    • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
