    Insituform Technologies, LLC is looking for experienced Truck Driver.

     

    Insituform Technologies, LLC, is a leading worldwide provider of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) and other technologies and services for the rehabilitation of pipeline systems. Insituform's businesses consist of sewer, drinking water, and energy and mining pipeline rehabilitation and protection. The company provides cost-effective solutions to remediate operational, health, regulatory and environmental problems resulting from aging and defective pipelines. Insituform's technologies allow its customers to avoid the extraordinary expense and extreme disruption that can result from traditional "dig and replace" methods.

    Responsibilities

    • Complete pre/post trips inspections and submits reports indicating truck condition
    • Maintains driver log
    • Loads and unloads truck incoming and outgoing trucks
    • Helps keeps the company warehouses organized
    • Maintain pallet inventory for return to the Batesville Plant, load when ready for return
    • Must maintain a current Commercial Driver’s License and Health Certificate
    • Other duties as assigned by supervisor including but not limited to:

      • Production support for the purpose of running lines during idle drive times
      • Red/Green tag of equipment
      • Material handling/Warehouse work

    Qualifications

    Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.     • Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Must be able to successfully pass a drug test and criminal history background check, as well as driver’s license check for the past 36 months without any suspensions or major traffic violations. Must have a valid CDL Class A with HazMat Endorsement and driving experience.
    • Training: Forklift Certification is required for the position.
    • Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate well with production supervisor, production employees, order departments, and accounting department. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small groups, and to other employees of the organization.
    • Mathematical Skills: The ability to add, subtract, multiple, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
    • Reasoning Ability: To apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
    • Other Skills and Abilities: Must maintain a valid CDL Class A with HazMat Endorsement and a forklift certification.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. 

     

    • Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. Location of material is stored in warehouses, both on and off the property, which is cold in the winter and hot in the summer. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
