    Responsibilities

    The Pipeline Integrity Data Specialist will perform duties involved with collecting, integrating and processing data related to pipeline integrity projects.

    • Collect, review, and plot pipeline operating pressure data from client
    • Use pressure data and pipe information to run fatigue analysis
    • Create reports and presentations from the results for review
    • Review and reconcile historical integrity assessment records such as pressure tests, direct assessments, and ILI surveys to ensure consistency between project documentation and database representations of these projects
    • Assist with preparing pipeline integrity assessment reports for inline inspection, direct assessment and pressure test projects.
    • Prepare specifications, procedures, manuals, project documents and reports.
    • Identify and evaluate client requirements for projects.
    • Apply basic engineering principles and theory when required.
    • Provide support to Integrity Engineering Group, subcontractors and others, for data research and data correction.
    • Mentor and train fellow coworkers when needed.

    Qualifications

    • Associates or Bachelors of Science degree of Science, Math, Computer Technology or related field required
    • Previous pipeline integrity experience required
    • Expert level experience with Excel and PowerPoint
    • Ability to read and understand alignment maps, Trunk Line Charts and engineering drawings.
    • Ability to understand complex algorithms and calculations to help determine if computer outputs are accurate.
    • Ability to understand potential threats to pipelines, and what factors influence those threats.
