    Responsibilities

     

    • Operate drill rig for cathodic protection anode well projects at customer sites
    • Comply with all company policies, regulatory safety regulations, and code requirements
    • Notify construction manager of unanticipated field changes and suggest possible alternatives
    • Restore jobsite to conditions found prior to beginning work
    • Operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment safely at all times
    • Report vehicle and equipment maintenance requirements to construction manager
    • Repair damaged equipment as directed by the construction manager
    • Maintain a valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A)
    • Maintain continuous and profitable working relationships with customers
    • Participate in weekly toolbox safety meetings and document equipment safety inspection audits
    • Attend company-sponsored safety training seminars and educational programs
    • Document deficiencies in safety practices/equipment to the construction foreman
    • Work in the field on non-drill related projects as needed
    • Report vehicle and equipment maintenance requirements to Construction Manager
    • Assist in minor maintenance of drill rig equipment, as needed

     

    Qualifications

    • Rotary mud drilling experience, ideally up to depths of 500 ft at 10' to 12' holes
    • Experience with Gefco 30K ideal
    • Must have CLD Class A, preferably with tanker endorsement
    • Knowledge of Cathodic Protection systems helpful
    • Must be mechanically inclined and mechanical experience with the drill is helpful
    • Ability to adjust to work related demands without becoming frustrated
    • Must be able to travel as much as 95% of time during the week, as well as over the weekends as needed
