    United Pipeline Systems is seeking Commercial Drivers/ Labourers with a Class A license for our facility located in Durango, CO. The Driver/ Labourer is responsible for safe operation of the vehicles to and from site while maintaining DOT regulations and guidelines. The successful candidate will also be required to assist with labor intensive tasks during installation as directed.

    • Safe operation of the Commercial Vehicles including Truck mounted crane and/or Wireline as directed by Superintendent or Foreman
    • Safe transportation of vehicles to and from job site
    • Maintain DOT regulations and guidelines
    • Assist crew on all job sites and complete installations as required
    • Interface with Field Superintendents to make recommendations on improvements to standard processes, tools and equipment.



    • Employment background and MVR screening required.
    • Pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings required
    • Must be 21 years of age to drive commercial vehicle across state lines and have minimum of two years’ experience of verifiable driving experience after age 21
    • High School diploma or GED
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
    • Preferred candidates will have more education/experience
    • Minimum 6 months Pipeline and /or General Construction
    • Minimum 6 months operating one or all of the following: truck mounted crane, wireline, excavator, crane, backhoe or forklift
    • Class A/B Commercial Driver License with a good standing MVR
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds *occasionally 75*
    • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
    • Average work consists of 10 hours a day, 6 days per week.


    Physical Demands/Work Environment:

    The physical demands and work environment characteristics described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.     • Physical Demands: In the performance of duties for this position, the employee is regularly required to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (occasionally up to 75 pounds). Ability for extended concentration. Must be able to enter confined space and comply with safety policies.

    • Work Environment: In performing the duties for this job, the employee will generally work in outside weather conditions (at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations). Will be occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level is usually moderate. Employee will travel by vehicle and/or airplane to job site locations and be away from home office for long periods of time to complete required installation. Average work week consists of 10 hours a day 6 days a week.

    • Personal Protective Equipment. Individual must provide steel toe boots and safety glasses with side shields if potential candidate requires glasses or contacts to perform tasks at the job site. Hand tools provided by the company. 


    • Work Location: Successful candidate will be in the field for up to 10 weeks at a time. The work will be away from home base for long periods of time (3-4 months) to complete required installation. Employees receive a $45 per diem. Hotel accommodations are pre-arranged and provided by the Company.
