    As the Director of Sales CORRPRO, you will focus on developing sales revenue and margins with existing as well as new customers, actively lead the sales team to expand market recognition and customer base within CORRPRO USA business, provide strategic intelligence and guidance regarding changing market conditions, and establish/direct the team to achieve or exceed sales as well as margin targets for the region. This will be managed using our internal CRM, which is an Oracle based system. Very similar system as many other CRM’s, it will track our leads, funnel, opportunity, activities, win/losses, and other familiar data points.

    Responsibilities

    • Partner with the VP of USA CORRPRO and Operations Management to develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies to leverage Aegion Corporation’s broad product and service offerings to our current and prospective clients
    • Build, coach and manage a CORRPRO USA sales team and create marketing programs to successfully deliver annual sales volume and meet profitability targets
    • Create long and short-term sales objectives that will increase market share, client win rate, revenue backlog and profitability
    • Develop and execute market development strategies targeting growth of identified high return businesses and having key account plans for each
    • Deliver and/or engage sales staff in creating compelling product demonstrations and sales presentations; represent the company at senior level client meetings, trade shows and client events
    • Develop and implement annual sales budgets that are focused on maximizing market share and cross-sell services and material sales opportunities
    • Ensure timely and aggressive execution of the following functions: prospecting; lead generation; territory coverage; customer information and research, customer satisfaction; and procurement strategies
    • Oversee business promotion and marketing of company product lines to promote maximum growth and profitability and maximize return on assets
    • Interface with the legal and finance staff in development of contracts, customer required project costing and other matters of legal or financial consequence
    • Gather and summarize competitive market intelligence including strategic account activities and growth opportunities
    • Interface with International Sales to assist in pursuing opportunities with global customers
    • Identify and facilitate cross selling activities between the various Aegion businesses
    • In conjunction with Human Resources, evaluate and manage sales compensation plans
    • Collaborate with Aegion Marketing Department to leverage the company website and Aegion-wide marketing efforts
    • Manage sales operations function effectively with the goal of facilitating smoothly executed estimating and closings, and accurate quarterly pipeline reporting and sales forecasting
    • Develop and manage our strategic sales plans for each area
    • Develop and manage key account plans for each of our strategic clients
    • Oversee weekly activity/call reports concerning customer-related activities for quotes, orders, and problems concerning customer/vendor relationships.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering or related field required
    • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent experience desirable
    • 10 years overall successful international industrial sales experience (preferably in the Oil and Gas industry or Engineering and Construction)
    • 7+ years sales management and leadership experience including hiring, training and mentoring a successful international sales team
    • 5+ years background in corrosion systems (CP)
    • Must be effective in building alliances and key account relationships with solid experience in team building and problem solving
    • Expert software skills with MS Office, PowerPoint and CRM. Our CRM is an ORACLE based system.
    • Must have business relationships with oil and gas related customers
    • Experienced in analyzing and interpreting very complex documents
    • Experienced in making effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on complex topics to top management, customers, and public groups
    • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
    • A strong communicator able to take initiative and function independently. Must be capable of making people management decisions and comfortable in a management position.
    • Ability to motivate and empower.
    • Ability to interface with individuals at all levels in an organization.
    • Must be able to travel 50% of the time
