    The Director, Pipeline Integrity Management is responsible for providing guidance and direction to the Company in all matters related to pipeline integrity data collection, management, reporting, and engineering including pipeline inspection and surveys, external corrosion direct assessment, internal corrosion direct assessment, AC interference prediction and mitigation, and pipeline risk analysis. The Director, Pipeline Integrity Management reports to the Vice President & General Manager of Corrpro.



    • Provide leadership and guidance to Pipeline Integrity team and Corrpro US to drive Pipeline Data and Information Management strategy.
    • Define and implement areas of responsibility for subordinates
    • Review and approve staff time and expenses
    • Authorize expenditures consistent with company policy
    • Hire, develop, performance manage subordinate employees
    • Instruct and advise employees regarding company policies and procedures
    • Provide leadership for training and employee development
    • Responsible for direction and coordination of data management, field services, and integrity engineering for Corrpro US.
    • Develop and implement a safe working culture and policies and procedures
    • Lead the development and implementation of standard operating procedures and best practices for all data collection, management, and reporting activities for Corrpro US.  This includes overall quality deliver and assurance (data, process and reports)
    • Partner with Corrpro leadership team to identify potential pipeline services acquisition targets, new technologies, and/or expansion of existing services
    • Establish and maintain high level of customer service
    • Project oversight will include all aspects of personnel, subcontractors, materials and equipment, as well as sales and marketing support
    • Develop and analyze key performance metrics
    • Provide data to the Vice President & General Manager in the preparation of annual engineering budgets
    • Confer and cooperate with sales personnel to satisfy customer needs and meet expectations
    • Interact with customers on technical issues requiring specialized skills or data interpretation
    • Support sales for technical presentations to customers
    • Approve pricing, scheduling and personnel commitments for proposals
    • Represent company on select industry technical committees
    • Periodically present papers at conferences and publish articles in technical journals
    • Identify new and competing technologies and analyze potential impact of technologies to pipeline integrity services business.
    • Develop and support, new and improved products and services including positioning, testing and launch
    • Gather business intelligence to identify new market and industry trends in emerging technologies.
    • Develop and manage relationships with technology partners

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field required.
    • Masters level education in business, engineering preferred. 
    • Prior managerial experience to include 15+ years managing industrial service organizations in Oil and Gas industry required.
    • Experience running a P&L of $20 million required.
    • Experience evaluating businesses and restructuring for increased efficiency is a must.
    • Knowledge of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) desired.
    • Knowledge of the Pipeline Services business (pigging, inspection etc.)

    Language Skills: Able to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, industry journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations; able to write professional reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; and capable of effectively presenting information to individuals or groups (management, clients, customers, general public) and responding to questions.

    Mathematical Skills:  Able to perform corrosion data analysis and cathodic protection design calculations.

    Reasoning Skills: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists and interpret various instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    Leadership Skills: Position requires individual to have strong interpersonal skills with ability to motivate and empower, to be a strong communicator, able to take initiative and function independently.  Must be capable of making people management decisions and comfortable in a management position.

    Computer-Based:  Ability to work with complex spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.  Ability to learn new applications quickly. Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, and Power Point) required.

    Physical Demands:  General sedentary position with frequent standing and walking required throughout the day.  Frequent travel throughout the US will be required. Frequent computer-related activities, such as typing and viewing a computer monitor are required. 

    Work Environment:  In performing the duties for this job, the employee will generally work in an office type environment but will occasionally be required to work in outside weather conditions (periodically at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations). Will be occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level is usually moderate. Travel by automobile and airplane required.
