    Responsibilities

    The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and HR support to the VP, Human Resources and the HR team for the Corrosion Protection Platform. Responsibilities will include updating and maintaining employee information, processing new hire paperwork, employment verifications, background checks, assisting with screening of resumes, scheduling interviews, arranging travel for candidates, processing unemployment claims, and assisting with recruitment efforts.

     

    This position will report to the HRVP - Corrosion Protection, with a dotted line relationship to the Director of HR - Corrpro US.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES


    The HR Coordinator is a valued member of the HR team and the work will be varied, to include:

     

    • Generate various employee change of status requests (e.g., change of address, departmental transfers, promotions, terminations, salary increases, etc.) for input into the HR Information System (Fusion and Data Serv) to maintain HR data integrity.
    • Initiate and process new hire paperwork, to include initiating and monitoring background checks, drug tests and motor vehicle record checks for new employees and subcontractors.
    • Support effective onboarding of new employees by conducting onboarding training of Corrpro US Administrators, streamlining and maintaining onboarding materials and personally onboarding management level staff and local office new hires.
    • Conduct scheduled New Employee Orientation sessions designed to provide employees with overview of company vision and values, employee policies and benefit programs with goal of ensuring a positive new employee experience.
    • Prepare various monthly and quarterly HR reports or scorecards utilizing data from HRIS (Fusion), applicant tracking and various other HR systems.
    • Prepare and distribute bonus and incentive plan participation communications and payout spreadsheets including follow up with management and Payroll.
    • Partner with the Corporate HR team and CPP HR staff to resolve routine manager and employee questions, issues or concerns; escalate advanced or complex issues to appropriate HR staff member.
    • Participate on HR committees to improve HR programs, systems etc. and perform other assignments, as required.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred 
    • Three or more (3+) years of experience in Human Resources support
    • Proven experience as HR Coordinator or relevant human resources/administrative position
    • Outstanding customer service and a strong desire to interact with others
    • Knowledge of human resources processes and employment laws
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to handle data with confidentiality, discretion, and judgement 
    • Solid organizational skills and ability to multitask
    • Strong ability using MS Office, database and HRIS systems
