    Responsibilities

    Essential Functions

    • Direct management oversight of accounting functions for all offices with Division II, and support of Corrpro US Accounting Management.
    • Evaluate accounting processes to identify and standardize best practice opportunities and system improvements.
    • Maintain and enhance an environment of continuous improvement by driving inefficiencies out for all processes while maintaining a controlling environment.
    • Lead financial reporting and planning for all non-Regional offices.
    • Work in partnership with the leadership of the operation to identify and drive profitability enhancements through operational efficiencies and cost saving opportunities.
    • Support the Corrpro US Controller in maintaining the monthly P & L report and adhere to the schedule for monthly closing of the report.
    • Coordinates the support of all audits, both internal and external.
    • Supervise accounts payable, invoicing, and inventory/purchasing functions for Corrpro offices, including tracking and billing of retainages, researching balances, and releasing conditional/unconditional waivers for all jobs on a monthly basis as required by the clients.
    • Prepare certain monthly balance sheet reconciliations that are not performed by the Corporate office.
    • Supervises Office Administrator who supports HR, Safety, OQ, Payroll and Office management functions for the region.
    • Supervises Office Assistant who handles the reception desk.

    Physical Requirements

    • General sedentary position with frequent computer-related activities, such as typing and viewing a computer monitor are required. Occasionally required to lift up to 10 pounds

    Additional Responsibilities

    • Maintain/update job training manuals
    • Assist Corporate Accounting with policy development
    • May maintain Quality Assurance records and administer all functions of job management such as: opening/closing and logging jobs, entering materials lists, completing invoices, and generating reports.
    • Correspond and verbally communicate in a professional manner with vendors and other Corrpro personnel.
    • Represent Corrpro in a professional manner, with a high degree of respect for all existing and potential customers.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA/MBA preferred)
    • 7 years or more related experience in a management capacity.
    • Prevailing wage expereince preferred 
    • JD Edwards experience
    • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Ability to prioritize and organize many diverse tasks at once.
    • Some travel each month to the other Division locations
