    As a member of our site leadership team the maintenance planner will be responsible for planning various small maintenance projects including estimating, outsourcing engineering, coordinating inspections, coordinating sub-contractors, purchasing material, and developing schedules. The maintenance planner will work closely with our civil and mechanical project superintendents as well as our maintenance superintendent to coordinate resources to meet the client’s weekly requirements.

    Responsibilities

    • Participate in job walks with client planners and coordinators.
    • Estimate, plan, and prepare specific budgets in accordance with prescribed standards and procedures for small maintenance projects.
    • Ability to analyze reports, information, and data to recognize trends and recommend corrective action and/or mitigation
    • Support leadership team, with technical expertise for maintenance, construction, and turnaround work.
    • Participate in weekly resource requirement meetings, collecting crew mix requirements from each Brinderson Superintendent, completing the weekly resource schedule, and updating the crew mix board.
    • Participate in weekly all hands, foreman, and leadership meetings.
    • Be a positive example and leader in our safety and quality programs.

     

     

    Qualifications

     

    At least five years of planning and/or field supervision, including execution experience, and ten years relative to the petrochemical or related industries.

    Solid background in routine and corrective maintenance concepts for process related facilities in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries.

    Ability to comprehend and apply technical drawings, design documents, specifications and procedures

    Familiar with basic principles of process piping, pressure vessels, heat exchange equipment, rotating equipment, basic electrical components and process control devices

    Ability to comprehend technical maintenance manuals, drawings, and specifications

    Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate across all levels of Company and Client correspondence

    Practical knowledge of procurement processes and procedures

    Proficient computer skills to include MS Office software to include strong Excel spreadsheet skills to manage data

    Have a thorough understanding of work scope management and change order process.

    Experience at the Anacortes Refinery a plus but not required.

    Undergraduate degree in engineering, construction management, or business management a plus but not required.

    This job can require one to be on their feet for most of the day or seated for long periods of time in front of a computer. At times this job can including lifting as much as fifty pounds unassisted. This work can also require climbing stairs or ladders and can include bending and kneeling.
